Pastor Rev. Kel Henderson
Pastor
Kel Henderson is a Southern California native and has grown up in both the Disciples of Christ and United Church of Christ denominations. She holds a BA in Religion from Chapman College and Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in Cross Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. She has been an ordained Disciples of Christ minister since 1997 and has been called to both DOC & UCC congregations. In her ministry, she has served in the local parish and as a prison and hospital chaplain. She has worked with youth and young adult ministries and spent time as a missionary to China and Mexico. Kel is an energetic person and an “out of the box” thinker who loves to work in group settings. She has a creative spirit and great love for adventure which can be experienced through her worship and teaching style.
Kel lives in Westminster with her husband Mike. They have been married for 15 years and have a 12 year old son named Anthony and a 6 year old beagle named Lemalaid. In addition to being a pastor, she has been an educator for over 20 years. Kel is a person of wide interests. She is an avid cyclist and swimmer, she loves to travel, and is always ready to play a game. Kel has played hand bells since her teenage years; she favors British authors and TV programs, and enjoys hockey and UCLA football just as much as listening to her audio books. Most of all Kel has a great love for people and building relationship.

Denese has been moderator for the past year or two and has been doing a wonderful job managing the various committees of the church.
Jeanette Wong, DMA
Music Director and Organist Ms. Wong is a graduate of Whittier College and the University of Southern California. She has been involved in the music ministries of FCC for over 10 years. Jeanette believes that music enhances the worship experience of the congregation, and she works actively to help those involved in the music ministries to reach their full potential and mission. She is excited to use her musical gifts in our church!
